EARN Program
The Employment, Advancement and Retention Network (EARN) Program is designed to assist clients in their transition from receiving public assistance benefits, to the workforce. The focus of all programming is to move the clients towards self-sufficiency, eliminating their need for public assistance. The targeted population consists of individuals who are recipients of Temporary Assistance for Needy Familie (TANF).
The County Assistance Office (CAO) staff determine eligibility for the EARN program and refer clients to EARN based on CAO policy procedures. Individuals eligible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) may be referred to the EARN contractor. The hours of participation are determined by the household composition for TANF.
